Hello. I am Armand.

I am one of those kids, what we Filipinos called “Batang 90’s” (children of the 90s era), wherein the era of the music industry was boosted by many Filipino solo artists and bands. Eraserheads is my topmost favorite band and it is the reason why I love and hooked to music. I watched and learned how to play the acoustic guitar through my cousins, and soon enough, I was in a band in high school. Listening and collecting cassette tapes and cds of some local and foreign artists became my and siblings' hobby. 

​I've been watching a lot of TV shows when I was a kid. From noontime variety shows, news, soap operas, cartoons, kiddie shows, and movies. I can still remember how we repeateadly watch a movie on a Betamax, and after a long while, in VHS format, VCD and DVD. It was all fun and good, until the era of Filipino independently made movies delighted me much more. I was inspired and amazed to see such storytelling, in a dfferent way than a mainstream movie.

Fast forward to 2007. After I graduated college, I was working in telecommunications. From being a technical personnel to being a pre-sales in the sales department, loving music never left me. I always been listening to radios and watching movies in cinemas every now and then.

But in 2014, I was given an opportunity to pursue something that I really want to do. I was asked by a good friend to join him and eventually became an ADR Engineer in Wildsound Studios (now NARRA Post-Production). It was a good start, for I learned much about the post-production workflow. I joined WAVHub in 2017, wherein curating customized messaging for advertisement contents is my job, from recording to mixing. It may be in different aspect of industry but in 2018, I was in Promovi Studios, continued my passion in film audio post-production.
